WEARABLE ARTSBy  Alessandra and Elise

Introduction:   Every Tuesday a group of five girls do wearable arts, Ruby, Alessandra,  Elise, Aidriahna and Molly for the Cultural Festival. This was  the first year that we have done wearable arts for the cultural festival. This year there was two categories city scape and beach bliss, we did beach bliss, and the other three girls did city scape.
Beach Bliss:Our dress the skirt part of our  dress is made from chicken wire it is covered  in weed mat that was spray painted neon green and black to look like seaweed.  Then for the top of the dress it had blue waves with white tissue paper and little gems hot glued to the tissue paper for a shimmering effect. Then for the final touches there is a fishing net bustle multi coloured fish and lights.  We wore our togs underneath and to finish it off we had a umbrella.

How to be a bucket filler!

How to be a bucket filler!
On Wednesday the 3rd of September in LC17.  Mrs Busch read us a book called ‘have you filled a bucket today’ it was a very good picture book and it taught me that everyone has a invisible bucket and if you do something kind to them there bucket will fill up and also yours will fill up too but if you are mean to someone you will be called a bucket dipper and when you are mean to someone you will tip there bucket but you might not know when you are mean to someone your bucket will empty too.

Netball semi finals

NETBALL SEMI FINALS
On the 30th of August my netball team had our semi finals at the lincoln netball courts.
The game started off well, in the first quarter they had to call time because I dove for the ball and grazed my hands and knees.
But I kept playing and we were tied at halftime, I was taken of at half time because in our grade we have to swap round positions at half time .The suspense was killing me.
I watched closely for the next half of the game.
At the end of the game they won by a couple of points.
But last week we had played them and lost by more points so we had improved so much.
The season is over and we won’t play anymore games but I am playing again next season.
